Abbie.

During the last week Abbie's ( my dog ) Lymphoma has returned. It has been well over 2 years since she went into remission. Yesterday she started a fresh round of chemo and the swollen lymph nodes have already subsided.

The life expectancy of a dog with Lymphoma even having had Chemo is only about a year so Abbie has done incredibly well to have gone so long. I am totally convinced that a product called A.H.C.C. has kept her fit for this long.

I have tripled the dosage now of the AHCC as she enters her second go round with chemo.......hopefully,the combination will keep her around for another year or so and I will keep you updated here.

Tonight I have a show at the "Dog House" in Fayetteville N.C. so if you are around that area come on by,

Cheers,
               Brian xoxo

Hi everybody,
Today I start finishing the vocals on the new record. I  tried to have Mick Jones ( Foreigner ) come in to lay down some guitar yesterday and thought it was all arranged with Phil Carson ( His manager ) who we had been talking to about it for weeks.
He consistantly told us he didnt see a problem with Mick coming in and playing right up until Saturday morning with the studio booked for the next day for his guitar work.

Mick apparently has injured his back and is unable to play guitar unless it is onstage so I wish him a speedy recovery but wish that Phil Carson could have let me know in a more timely fashion...........what goes around comes around Phil..........Thanks again !!

Hi there everyone,
I am just getting ready to leave lake Atitlan after 10 days of relaxation.
Monday its back to the studio to finish my new record. At the lake I have been staying at the San Buenoventura Hotel and if you ever come to this part of the world you have to come and stay here.
It is heaven on earth and the staff and owner ( Natalie ) are incredible and look after you like kings. It is with sadness that I leave but the house hunting is going well and I am sure that soon I will have my own place here.

The new record is coming along very well indeed and I am so happy with it. It has been a long time since I recorded and it feels good to be back in the saddle and making such a strong record.
Abbie ( my dog ) is still cancer free thanks to my vet ( Lynn Holladay ) and a wonderful product called A.H.C.C.  available from any vitamin store. Abbie has been clear of Lymphoma now for nearly two years and I am sure that A.H.C.C. has played a huge part in that.

Thats about it for now, hope to see you out there soon,

Well, after a long break it seems that the webpage is up and running again regarding the guest page. Feel free to write to me and let me know whats going on with you guys !!

I can also be reached on myspace of course.........myspace.com/brianhowe01

An update on my wonderful dog " abbie "............Abbie was diagnosed over two years ago with Lymphoma and withut treatment would have lasted about 6 weeks maximum.

She went through chemotherapy successfully and went into remission. That was hoped to last for another year but I started her on AHCC a mushroom compound that is available from vitamin stores and thus far her blood work has always come back totally clear of cancer. She is over her expected remission time by over a year and is  still running around like a puppy...............long may that continue !!!

I am in Orlando recording and getting to close to finishing my new solo album..........I can promise you a great album and certainly the best record I have ever made. It Rocks too.....so get ready !!!!!

I  am in Des Moines tomorrow for a show with RATT annd I am looking forward to seeing many of you there,

Till then,     Brian H xoxo

Hi everyone,
I had a great time last weekend at the Sportsplex in Winchester Virgina, met some great people and jammed a little after the show at the club Sweet Carolines. We did our longest show of all time there ( nearly 2 hours ) and I hope we can return there and rock them some more !!
This coming (Sat 17th) I am playing in Phenix city Alabama and looking forward to it. The show is almost sold out and I am sure it will be a memorable occasion because we are taking no prisoners on this tour............get there early and strap yourselves in.......it's going to be a fun ride !!

Hi everyone,
Allergy season has arrived and is hitting hard this year. I am so tired of sneezing and feeling like I have a bad cold. The whole band is suffering this year and I have to admit it seems to hit me harder every year.
On to Abbie.....she is doing great.........still in remission and I am treating her with a mushroom compound.....it has been a year now since she was diagnosed with Lymphoma so she is already way ahead of the game. Lymphoma can kill a dog within 4 weeks if left untreated.........hopefully Abbie will be around a little longer...........she is 11 now and I am hoping to celebrate her 12th birthday with her.

Show wise........May 10 see's me at the STARPLEX in Winchester Viginia so if your in the area come along and we will have a fun night.
May 17th see's me in Phenix city Alabama and I am so looking forward to as my Radio pal Chris Chaos is now there and we are going to have ourselves a party. My hometown soccer team " Portsmouth " have made it to the F.A.cup final in England and that is also on May 17th so by the time I hit the stage I should have something to celebrate............that would be nice !!

Anyway, that's it for now,
Catch you,
                      Brian

Hi everyone,
Well, here I am in Biloxi for the show tonight. My buddy Jimi Jamison is also on the bill so its going to be a good rocking show for everyone concerned.
A lot of people have been asking about my dog Abbie and I am happy to report that she is still doing great. No sign of the Lymphoma returning though I am assured it will. She is on Mushroom powder added to her food and I think it is helping to keep her strong. She looks great though it was sad to have to leave her again this morning........oh well.

Catch you soon,

In a week or two am probably going to discontinue this web page.........The amount of spam I recieve is now intolerable and I have to spend ages just to sort through it and find the genuine letters from fans. I have asked on several occasions for my web page operator to assist with blocking the spam but he hasnt found the answer so I am left with very little alternative.

I can be reached on myspace though..........Myspace/brianhowe01 for those that wish to stay in contact.

Hi again,
Its not often you will find me raving about another band but I have a band to tell you about. THE STORYS have a new record out and it is simply amazing..........I loved the first C.D. but this one is simply fantastic.......please check it out if you are a fan of good melodic craftmanship. This is the record for you............

Had a great show in Guatemala and really enjoyed everything about about the concert. Dean and I did just about 5 songs and we had a great response. Next year I think I will return with the full band and maybe even run a fan camp there with an all inclusive price for travel and hotels and camp site. Monies raised go to the local childrens hospital that was ruined by the effects of hurricane Stan so its a great cause.

Catch you later !!

Hi everyone,
Well here I am back in Guatemala. I am doing a few songs here at the Lake Atitlan festival on Saturday to raise funds for the rebuilding of the local childrens hospital which has been out of use due to storm damage for over a year. Dean Aicher and I are going to do about four songs as a duo so that should be fun. I am also continiung my house hunting while here and I hope to become a resident in this country real soon.

Abbie is continuing in her good health and is looking great.........you would never know she is deadly ill...........I intend to help her keep the remission in place for a long time yet.
Dont forget my shop is now open and there is a selection to look at ..I recommend the shot glasses lol !!!

Bye for now,
                      Brian

Hi everyone,
I am here in Guatemala having a wonderful time. I am about to purchase a house on Lake Atitlan and I cannot wait to get it all done. It is without doubt the most beautiful place in the world and probably one of the cheapest too.

I have met some wonderful European people ( new friends ) whom have lived here for ages and they are showing me the ropes. I will be home tomorrow and then the Dallas area for a show on Saturday.

Abbie is still doing great and everything is wonderful............

Catch you all later,

Hi Everyone,
Had a cool show last night in Cleveland. Last minute stand in drummer Kevin Neal did a grand job and although we didnt have time to learn all the songs just to get through the show was a good thing with just an hours rehearsal. My regular drummer was taken very ill the night before the show and Kevin flew up in the morning and as I said id a great job.

Abbie up date..........she is doing wonderfully well.........Chemo has been over for a month now and she is bounding with energy. She is on a new vitamin and herb regime devised by Dr Harveys www.drharveys.com and the hope is to rebuild her immune system and try to stop the cancer returning.

Tonight I am performing in Wisconsin and I have to say it is freezing outside......hopefully we can warm things up around here with a rock n roll show to remember.

Date: 12/13/2007 9:18:15 AM

Just got back from London where my phone refused to work and I have just got all my messages...........sorry to all that tried to call me. I am heading for the ATT store today to replace my Blackberry.

Abbie has successfully completed her chemotherapy and now the clock starts to tick. I hope I can keep her going for about 18 months and I am still looking for alternative treatments for when the Lymphoma returns ( which of course it will ).

I had a great time at the Zeppelin Concert and actually waved and said Hi to Simon Kirke.....he was very pleasant and it was good to see him. He had another guy with him who wasnt as nice but I guess some people like to carry anger around with them........Oh well.

Will write again soon,

Hi All,
I have just returned from a wonderful trip to Granada Spain where we had a great show. On landing I got the news that an old friend ( though I hadnt spoken to him in years ) Graham Paddon had died suddenly at his home aged 57.

I met Graham while he was coaching at my beloved Pompey along with Alan Ball who also sadly passed away recently. Graham was a lovely lad and always had time for football people and fans alike......I wouldnt mind betting that if there is a hereafter he is right now busy picking this weeks team along with Bally.
R.I.P. Graham and my condolences to his family.

Hi All,
It seems that i have upset somebody in the crowd at Fort Walton Beach regarding my onstage comments about our current President. I fail to see how that somebody can assume that I was running down the troops because I happen to think that the president is a moron.
I do nothing but support the troops ( many of whom want to come home and get away from this ridiculous war ).
I have a right to say what I want to say about this president.........thats what previous armed forces fought and died for..........freedom of speach. For this one person to write to my page many times is stupid. Feel free my friend to be proud of a president who I think is moronic. Thats your freedom...........my freedom is to disagree with you.

Thanks,

Hi everyone,
Mobile Alabama tomorrow night and I cannot wait. It has been a very frustrating week because of Bad News on the Abbie front. Abbie has now developed bladder cancer to go along with the Lymphoma. It is not related to the Lymphoma but it on its own, life threatening.
So, now she has to endure two types of Chemotherapy but so far is still her chirpy self although sometimes I can see she is tired.

She never ceases to amaze me with her strength of character........she still never gets irritable with all the other animals even though she sometimes looks like she needs time alone.
To see another full house tomorrow night will take my mind off all the problems though and I look forward to a great sing along.
See you there !!!!!!

Date: 9/15/2007 7:13:41 PM
Hi Everyone,
Just got back from Lowell Indiana where last night we had another packed house and a great sing along crowd. Thanks to everyone for coming along..........We had a fantastic night.
Abbie is doing great and the chemo is doing a great job at keeping the lymphoma subdued.
She has quite a few more weeks of chemo and then we will see if she has gone into remission............I have everything crossed for her. To lose her would be devastating but right now I guess its one day at a time but at least we are having fun together.
Cheers for now,
                           Brian xoxo

Thanks to the thousand that turned up in Hallandale and Pittsburgh this last weekend. What great attendances !!
Both shows were very well put together and my thanks goes out to both sets of crews for all the help and support.

Its so nice to be playing these larger venues againand that trend is continuing .......next year is already looking fantastic and my agent Steve Green ( aim international ) has done a fantastic job.
I now have a few days off which I am going to enjoy........

Hi everybody,
First of all an Abbie update..........she is doing great and hopefully she will go into remission in a few weeks. Thanks for all your letters of support for my wonderful canine friend.

Saturday night I had the great pleasure of playing a private open air show up in Banner Elk North Carolina. The show was at the Banner Elk winery and we had a fantastic night. Banner Elk Winery

We were looked after like kings and  Dr. Richard Wolfe let us use his house to prepare for the show ( we even got a personal tour ) of the entire place.

Angelo and his family were very gracious and I have to say that I wish every show was like that one. Pamela was incredible and took care of every fine detail even down to babysitting.

If ever you want to stay at a guest house in the North Carolina mountains this is the place to do it............and the wine is FANTASTIC too. Click on the link and see what I am talking about.

Date: 8/10/2007 10:14:26 AM

I think that most of my fans know how I feel about our current so called president.........famed record man Bob Clearmountain stated the following qoutes on his website and I have to say that I agree totally with him...........
So here's the thing— everyone knows the war in Iraq is all about the oil, and everyone also knows that the oil companies have more money than anyone, in fact Exxon Mobile have posted higher profits than any company in the history of... well... history!  So why aren't the oil companies chipping in to pay for the damn war? Why are we paying for it out of our taxes, instead of that money going to something more useful like education so that future generations don't make the same mistakes we did, like electing morons to run the country!  And maybe funding alternative energy research and solving the global warming crisis. If a war needs to be fought over oil, let the oil companies pay for it and hire their own mercenaries (or whatever) so our soldiers can stop being killed and maimed for Exxon's benefit!

And another thing—You need to pass tests to do many things in our country, like driving a car, being a doctor, dentist, shrink, chiropractor or even a massage therapist, barber or hair stylist. Don't ya think it's kinda odd that there's absolutely no test required to become President of the United States, arguably the most important job on the planet?  Not even a pop quiz!!! Perhaps if there were some sort of basic exam required to even be able to run for president, maybe with some questions about economics, foreign policy and necessary reasons to declare war on a country, we just might avoid all this crap in the future. Is that too much to ask?

What do you think?

Hi everyone,
I am so sorry that I have been absent on my webpage for so long but I will try to play catch up with you all. I am writing this from my hotel in Costa Rica where I have come to get away for a few days. I am amazed at how many people have been in touch regarding my dog Abbie. She is doing fine although some of the Chemo is really hitting her very hard and she has a few real bad days. My vet and friend Lynn Holliday ( naples ) is doing a fantastic job in treating her and this weekend she has taken Abbie home to her place to hang.........its so nice to have someone who really cares about her and for her to be a vet is a bonus.........

I have a myspace page too......look me up and become my friend.........that would be cool.

I will write again soon,

Cheers,

Had a  great show at the hawg stop tavern on sat night.......its about half an hour outside Houston Texas. That makes it Bush country.......I told the audiance what I thought of George W.........three people objected !!!

Thank goodness most people have woken up to the fact that he is the worst president in American history.

The show went well and now I have a little break so I can spend a lot of time with Abbie as she enters her second month of Chemotherapy........her white blood cell count was too low today for chemo but we will try again on thursday. She is still showing no signs of discomfort so we hope she will go into remission which will buy us as much as three years.
I hope thats the case.

Catch you all later,
                                 Brian xoxo

Date: 7/12/2007 7:49:33 AM

Hi everyone,
Yesterday my dog Abbie went through her second dose of Chemotherapy. She behaved so well during the procedure which pretty much demands her to lay still for the best part of an hour. She seems to understand that she has a serious problem and that what we are doing is hopefully going to help her. She is a little tired today but otherwise she seems fine..........her white cell bloodcount is so low due to the treatment that she cannot go out for a proper walk around dogs we dont know but Charlie and Roxy ( her two pals ) are certainly doing their bit to keep her spirits up.

I have been speaking to a doctor Harvey in New Jersey www.drharveys.com and he has been very encouraging regarding Abbies future. He told me to get Abbie off of all commercial dog food and give her practically raw meat and cooked vegetables mixed with a various amount of herbs and vitamins. Once Abbie is in remission he will try to rebuild her immune system and keep the cancer away. He has NOT promoted any of his own products to me so I suggest everyone with an animal problem gives him a call ( tell him I sent you ).

Some people have said to me I am foolish to go through all this trouble for a dog.........those people don't know me........and they dont know dogs.
Love,
         Brian

Wow.....it has been quite  a week..........Hilton Head to Kingsport and then on to bear lake NC...........Tonight Crystal lake IL.  It has been gruelling to say the least gut great fun. My dog Abbie has had her first session in Chemotherapy and so far with great results........Her glands are now back to normal size and although she has to endure three months of this if I can get her into remission I have been told by Doctor Harveys that her immune system can be totally rebuilt. Thats all I could have hoped  for............my regular Vet Dr Holliday ( naples) is doing a great job and the results so far look pretty good........

Catch you all later,

Date: 6/30/2007 8:17:57 AM

Hi everyone,
Well, it's been a tough week........Abbies test results are now fully in and it's not good. She has the worst of the Lymphomas and its going to be a battle to keep her for a little longer. She begins Chemo on Monday while I also have her on a supplement called k-9 immune which is basically a mushroom based cancer fighting capsule.
I can't be with her on Monday for her first Chemo as I have to be in Hilton Head for the show on the Tuesday and wont be home until the following Sunday but I have friends who are going to help with that.

5 shows in 7 days is a good way to get my mind off the situation and hopefully things might have improved a little by the time I get home. I can't imagine life without her running around the house and I know that I am going to do what I can for her without her being in pain.
I am assured that the Chemo has little side effects on canines ( unlike on us ) so Monday we push on with that and hopefully get her into remission so that I can use some alternative medicine and try to rebuild her immune system. Keep your fingers crossed for Abbie for me..........its going to be a hard week !!!

Date: 6/26/2007 12:35:13 PM

Hi everyone,
it has been a strange week. My dog abbie is doing quite well but I am still awaiting the final results regarding what treatment to proceed with. Chemo therapy is probably the way I will go and then I will try the homeopathic route and try to rebuild her immune system.
Most of the canine cancer specialists are recommending no more commercial dog food and reverting her back to raw meat and stuff.

I leave for a bunch of shows next week and it will break my heart to leave her but I am trying to make sure that she will be more than comfortable during my time away.

See you all in Hilton Head on July 3rd..........Kingsport TN on the 4th.........
I will post all the other dates soon.

Cheers,
            Brian

A letter to George W  Bush

I read today......regarding stem cell research............Announcing your veto to a roomful of supporters, and you said, "If this legislation became law, it would compel American taxpayers for the first time in our history to support the deliberate destruction of human embryos. I made it clear to Congress  and to the American people that I will not allow our nation to cross this moral line."

You also vetoed similar embryonic stem cell legislation last July.

So George.........you prefer the deliberate destruction of Human beings ( Not embryos).By not finding cures for serious diseases you are causing the death of millions of future embryos and also by your actions in Iraq and afghanistan you have shown very little regard for human life and sold your lie to the world about weapons of mass destruction and have caused the death of thousands .....with the numbers growing every day.

You Mr Bush are the biggest threat to world peace.......and I am shocked that so many people believe your lies...............let me tell you now ....I DON'T.

Hi Everyone,
I got back from travelling this week and discovered that my dog Abbie had swollen glands in her neck. This morning I took her to the vet who examined her and told me that she thought that Abbie had Lymphona. A biopsy was done this afternoon and I await the results in a few days.
I am obviously hoping that the results will show nothing bad but the vet herself is pretty sure that she is right in her assumptions............

Abbie is without doubt my animal soul mate and probably my best friend in the world and I have been walking around in a daze all day.
If anyone has any advice or experience of this situation please feel free to write to me at Brianhoweband@aol.com

Thanks everybody,

Brian

I have just got back from Guatemala. I went with great trepidation but left feeling like I was  leaving home. What a wonderful country.......I went horseback riding for the first time in 30 years........ate the greatest food......and generally had a fantastic 4 day break.
Tomorrow I leave for Ohio and another 4 day trip.........I never seem to spend much time at home anymore but I truly love to travel.

I am thinking of moving abroad ..not sure where yet but South America is a strong possibility.......I will keep you all informed.

Stay well,

Mourners were today attending Winchester Cathedral for the funeral of World Cup legend Alan Ball.

The 61-year-old member of the victorious 1966 squad died last week at his Hampshire home.

He suffered a fatal heart attack while putting out a small fire which had broken out in a compost heap in his garden.

Hi everyone,
I think it's common knowledge that my all time favourite female singer/songwriter is Abra Moore. I have all of her work and everything she does is wonderful......I am amazed that she is not better known. But I guess compared to many other female singers it is not sex she is selling but wonderfully crafted emotionally drawn songs and performances. I urge you to buy all of her albums and sit back and search your soul.......
Check her out,

Had  a great time last night in Montgomery Alabama........It was also great to see Mick Jones and Foreigner who closed the show. My ex manager was ( Phil Carson ) was also there and it felt like old times even though we didnt argue about anything.

The crowd was fantastic and sang along like crazy to every song.......we really were treated very well by everyone and I had a really great night.
Thanks to everyone involved for all their help...........hope to see you all soon,

Its a sad day for me as an old friend of mine died this morning.......Alan Ball ex England footballer ( soccer) and also an ex manager of my hometown team (Portsmouth).

Alan was 61 and has died from an apparent heart attack while fighting a fire in his garden.

It was I that managed to talk Alan into coming back into management to take over at Portsmouth when the club was seemingly doomed to be relegated to a lower league.
He agreed to take over and somehow we managed to escape relegation. A new owner took over and the next season fired poor Alan after all he had done to keep the club up.
That was his last job in football and he went on to do guest speeches and functions and also was a pundit for sky sports.........
He will be missed by many people........and by the world of football.

RIP        ALAN BALL

Hi All,
I have been in Scottsdale Arizona since Wednesday and have been staying at the 3 Palms resort. Let me tell you ..........what a wonderful place to stay. Everyone was so helpful and the hotel itself was wonderful........the rooms are fantastic and the pool is great.
The whole stay was simply wonderful and I would like to thank the staff from top to bottom.

The girls behind the desk were simply stunning and very very helpful.........so thank you girls !!
Dont hesitate to stay there if you get the chance.
Tonite is the show here at WEST WORLD and then we hop on a plane for tomorrows show in Sanford Florida. Then I get a little time off and I am going travelling ........see you soon,

Hi there,
Yesterday I did a last minute show at the bandshell on Daytona Beach.....it was a 3pm show and we had a real blast. A great turn out and I saw a lot of familiar faces ( Hi Jeanie ).

Tomorrow I leave for Cancun Mexico for some pre season training with the MLS team NEW ENGLAND REVOLUTION.
I have to try to get my tired old body into some kind of shape though I am sure that eating and drinking will also form part of the schedule.
My buddy Paul Mariner claims to be getting into shape too.......though what that shape is nobody is sure but an English pudding comes to mind !!!
Catch you when I return,
Brian H

Hi Everyone
And a very happy new year to you all..........I am finally over the worst cold of my life and it took nearly a month to shake it off. I  caught it in London before Xmas and it has hung in on me until yesterday.......at last I am now starting to feel better.
I lost a good friend of mine in Sept.......Joe Scott, he was a radio presenter here on 96.1 KROCK. Joe was Joe.....he could be an enemy/winner/loser/sober/drinker/nice/nasty/clean/dirty/stupid/smart/evil/angelic........Joe was Joe !!!   He was my friend.
He harrassed me for years on his morning show, calling me at the crack of dawn just to abuse me......it has taken me a few long weeks to come to terms with what happened but what I would give to be harrassed again tomorrow morning...........

I have a lot of news for you in a week or so..........stay tuned !!
All the best,

 Hi there,
This weekend is going to be fantastic.....on Friday we play a show in Rutland Vermont and then I am up early to get a 6am flight out of Burlington that will take me to Dallas to see the MLS final featuring my team ( The Revolution ).
The game is on Sunday but I am sure that Sat night will see me and my mate Paul Mariner ( Revs assistant head coach ) discussing tactics over a few beers.
I am sure that things will turn out a lot better than last year when the Revs lost 1-0 to the LA Galaxy.
Stevie Nicol (Head coach) and Paul have the team fine tuned and with any luck at all should be lifting the trophy early Sunday evening.
Either way a respectable amount of drinking will take place later that evening at the team hotel.
The game is live on T.V. so if you get the chance to tune in please do........

All the best,
                     Brian

Hi All,
Well, it's been another busy week and it was good to see everyone in Phoenix on Saturday.......what a loud crowd and a great venue......we had a great time.

I met with Bob Cone the leader of Spirit airlines in Fort Myers and he made sure my trip was fantastic. Thankyou Bob.

This week I have a private show in Orlando on Wednesday and then I travel just south of Daytona Beach to THE INLET HARBOR, PONCE INLET FLORIDA so those of you that can make it please do........it will be good to see you.

Hi everyone,
I just thought that I would check around today at my former bandmates websites to see what they had to say about Boz Burrell who sadly passed away on Sept 21st...............None of them have written a thing.

I think that alone just about says what needs to be said about the other guys.  Very sad.

Hi everyone,
Saturday Sept 23rd we had a show in Ledgewood New Jersey at the Legends Harley Davidson dealership. In stark contrast to the previous night in Buffalo we had a blast......what a well run show !!   All the right equipment and a great bunch of people.
Dina looked after us very well and was a real pleasure to deal with. I also had the pleasure of meeting Larry Hartke ( the owner and founder of Hartke Bass amplifiers and cabinets )www.hartke.com and he was great also.
Thanks for all the laughs !!

BUFFALO SHOW

I WOULD LIKE TO APOLOGIZE TO THE HUNDREDS OF FANS WHO TURNED OUT FOR THE BUFFALO N.Y. SHOW IN CLUB INFINITY ON FRIDAY NIGHT.

CONTRARY TO RUMORS PUT AROUND BY THE CLUB OWNERS THE SHOW WAS CANCELLED BECAUSE OF MANY CONTRACTUAL OBLIGATIONS THAT THE OWNERS FAILED TO ADHERE TO.

I will never allow a venue to supply sub standard/wrong equipment for my band and I was lied to before and during the entire day of the show. I tried to make things work but the lies continued right up until show time.........
I am sorry it brought the possiblities of a show to an end and I will NOT be rescheduling a show at that particular club so I urge you to get refunds.
The management had put around several rumors as to why the show didnt happen , even telling people I had been taken to hospital which of course like most of what they said was not true.

BOZ BURRELL.........R.I.P.

Sadly, Boz Burrell (original bad co bass player ) has died suddenly at his home in Spain aged 60 on Sept 21st. I only knew Boz during his brief return to Bad Co in the mid 80's but he was a man with a very gentle nature and although his return to the band was short we had more than a few laughs. His love was Jazz and I think he found the confines of rock n roll too restricting and he left in the middle of a Euopean tour we were doing at the time. A nice guy though and he will be missed by his many fans and friends.

Well, that was some gig in Pepe's on the river. A sold out crowd and they knew the words to every song. A great location too......right on the banks of the Rio Grande, a huge straw roofed tiki hut. In the morning of the show I actually hit a golf ball right across the river from the USA into Mexico with a 7 iron though I didnt go looking for it. The atmosphere was electric when we took the stage and I had a great time.......it was also my birthday show and the venue got me a fantastic birthday cake and audiance sang Happy birthday for me.

All in all a great time and I look forward to going back there.

Write soon,

Well, here I am in Mcallan Texas....I havent been here for quite awhile but I love it. The show tonight is at Pepe's on the river and with the river being the Rio Grande I am about 50 yards from Mexico. It is blazing hot , much hotter than Florida but its such a great place.

I could live here in a heartbeat.........I had lunch at Pepes yesterday and the food was fantastic and everyone was so nice so I am looking forward to the show tonight. It's actually my birthday today and I cant think of a better venue for a party........
I have a few days off after this and I am looking forward to getting some fishing in and some fitness work too ( yes,its back to the gym time ).

I will write more next week,
                                             Brian.

Hi everyone,
In preperation for the August 12th show at Council bluffs " BREWFEST " I did an interview for the radio station 96.1  THE BREW this morning. Mookie and Michelle were a great laugh and I really enjoyed my time with them. It's nice to know that radio still has nice people alive and well...........I was sorry to hear that Mookie's operation wasnt a complete success but honestly on air you would never know......he still sounds masculine enough and is now wearing mens clothing again so you would never know.

I have ordered special English made knee pads for Michelle ready for the show too........she'll enjoy those.........

See you at the show,

                                Brian xxx

Hi Everyone,
Wow, I have another week off and I am so enjoying it.  My stay in the Bahamas was wonderful and I met up with Terry and Sherrie Manning from Compass point studios. We have been friends since I recorded "Here comes trouble" at the studio there and had a wonderful time doing it. We had a wonderful curry in the "Clay oven" Indian Restaurant and we started talking Music.........it resulted in us agreeing to get together soon to write some songs and see where that takes us. That alone will be fun because Terry has an insane sense of humor just like mine.

My current drummer Ricardo sanchez is getting married early july and I want to wish him all the very best in that venture.........I would have attended the wedding but I am not a big fan of Burritos.

On a sadder note ......my former drummer Dave Z has suffered a heart attack at his home last week and then proceeded to have another one as he arrived at the hospital.......Dave is ok though and I wish him a speedy full recovery........whats the bets he now stops smoking ??

Hi everybody,
Well , it has taken a little time but my solo record "Tangled in blue " is now available on " ITUNES ". Thanks to Chad for the update on that. This version of the record has the same track listing as the German version called touch so includes a bonus song written by Jaff Carlisi of ( 38 special )  fame and myself. Its called "How it could have been " and is another song I am proud of.

I am currently in the bahamas with a good book and an IPOD and doing nothing........it is something I have been promising myself for ages but have never got around to doing.
I am having dinner tonight with my good friends Terry and Sherrie Manning from Compass point studios and I am looking forward to that..........no doubt a steaming curry will result.

Will write soon,
                        Brian xx

Date: 5/30/2006 6:55:05 PM

It has been brought to my attention that my solo record is now downloadable on AOL  music. It will eventually be available to download on ITUNES but the waiting list to be added is very long ..so those of you who want to hear "Tangled in Blue" my first solo record can go to AOL ...keyword Music and put in Brian Howe and there you will find it.

Thanks to every one who came to the shows in Hickory and Hilton Head this weekend.......we sold out both shows and had a real blast.........Thanks again......catch you soon,

Wow its been a long time since I last wrote !!!  OK here goes........I have been sick for a little while now but am getting out of my bed for this weekends shows.........Saturday at Godfries in Hickory N.C. and then on to Hilton Head island  S.C.on Sunday for a show at Monkey Business.

I will be updating the calender page when all the dates are settled into place.

See if you can make the shows this weekend...........all the best,

Well here I am in Benham Texas in probably the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The America's best value Inn.............NOT.

The rooms are terrible and have an odor that can only be related to skunk urine..........nothing here works.........even the front door to reception is off its hinges.....the drink machines are broken and the food machines are empty.........the free computer wireless is actually wireless free at least in the rooms.

I suggest camping .........that would be more luxurious than this DUMP !!!

Looking forward to the show tonite though..........Portsmouth football club beat Wigan today and keeps us in the Premiership for next season.........Harry Redknapp ( manager) pulled of a miracle because just a few weeks ago we were 8 points adrift of wba and yet with the help of the players that he signed we have pulled the impossible and made it to safety.Congratulations POMPEY !!!!!!

Date: 4/16/2006 6:44:10 PM

WOW, What a crazy week we have just had.....Tuesday Toronto..........Thursday Sudbury........Friday Barrie.........Saturday Kalispell. I got to meet thousands of new friends and we had a real blast although I have to say it was a very exhausting week of travel. So exhausting that I overslept this morning and missed my flight home so I am stuck here in Montana until Monday morning.

Thanks to everyone who helped make the week a great success.....especially my band who played so well all week even though they were totally exhausted.........I think we showed a lot of people how powerful we can be.

My soccer team Portsmouth ( english premiership ) had another great result yesterday and we now have a great chance of not being relegated. Harry Redknapp ( manager ) has done an incredible job in turning things around and if we can stay up I am sure that he will consider staying on and maybe turn POMPEY into a Premiership force for next season.

Happy easter everyone..................see you out there.

Cheers,  Brian

Hi there,
Well two shows down and two to go this week........we kicked off the Canadian tour in Toronto and I have to say I was very under the weather with a throat infection but we played Sudbury last night and I am well on the road to recovery. Tomorrow we hit Barrie and I am looking forward to that..............The weather has been very kind to us during this week, very mild , and the people have been great to us.
My soccer team Portsmouth have been quite bad all season but with 5 games to go we now have a good chance of staying in the premiership and the picture will be a lot clearer after easter. Unbeaten in 4 games now we have hit the kind of form that should keep us up.......here's hoping anyway !!!

I am off to bed now, catch you all soon,

Brian  xx

Hello everyone,
Well touring season is almost here and this year I start in Canada on 11th April so if your in that area come along and see the band. I am putting the new record on the backburner for now as I am so overloaded with live work and the label I was going to be with ( M.T.M. records ) have proven to be a huge disapointment so until I find a new label who can be honest and straight forward I will not be finishing the record.

Anyway I look forward to seeing you all soon out there on the road...........I will rock your world this year !!!!

All the best,
                   Brian Howe

Hi everybody,
Well, it seems like the flu bug has been working hard in this area for the last week or so. I am shaking it off at last but it made the last 2 shows hard to do. I have a load of shows coming in this year but I am not going to post them on the site too early because my friends in Bad Company are still calling my shows and trying to cause me trouble. I wish they would just stop being so childish but I guess they must enjoy keeping their lawyers pockets lined with their money. I have been approached to write a book all about my time in Bad Company.....it will be a tell all and I can promise you that I have some explosive stuff and pictures. When I say a tell all I mean a TELL ALL. I am meeting with the co author next week and we will start going through my diary and tour books. The storys will blow the cover of many sides of Bad Co.........drugs,drinking , women.......and models.

It is all looking like its going to be a very busy year...........get ready for a great show and a great read,

Brian xxxx

Wow, What a crazy week.......two days rehearsals and a private show on Friday Jan 27th in Orlando then the next day I jump on a plane to London. On Feb 1st I am heading for Dublin to attend the opening of my old pal Peter Stringfellows new club in Dublin. I have promised to keep my clothes on but who knows what will happen after a few cola's.  www.stringfellows.com

That will be one crazy night but I havent seen Peter in ages so it will be good to catch up.
The new record is coming along slowly but I dont want to promise when it will be ready......when its done it will be my best record ever and I dont want to rush it.

I will write again when I get back from Europe, until then,
All the best,
                     Brian xx

Hi everyone,
Yesterday I had the most wonderful surprise.......I was making an appearance on the Joe scott show here in Fort Myers ( 96.1 K rock) and who should call in but my all time fav female singer/songwriter Lisa Loeb. I actually have all of her records on my ipod (apart from the childrens record) and am amazed at her skill at painting a picture with her lyrics. Anyway it happens that she likes my stuff too and "If you needed somebody" is on her ipod. Amazing !!!!
She has a new greatest hits record coming out this month and if you havent heard much of her I urge you to go out and buy it and get in touch with yourself. Lisa Loeb official website

On further news.......rehearsals have started for next touring season and I have tried to acommodate all the songs that people want to hear. Included will be Fearless....no smoke.....boys cry tough.......and other songs that havent been played for years. I am so looking forward to getting out there and seeing you all again this year. My first solo record "Tangled In Blue" will soon be available on Itunes and many of you have never had the chance to buy it because it has never been fully released in the USA so check it out in a few weeks. I think you'll like it. The new record is coming along but right now I am concentrating on getting the show ready for this coming year. We are going to be a rocking band this year with two guitar players and I promise you a show to remember.

See you soon

Yo there
Those of you from the fort myers area will be surprised that I am leaving you soon and heading slightly north. But stay tuned to the Liz Wilde show because it is simply the only show worth a hoot on 96KROCK ( 96.1 FM ) 6-11PM. It really is a great radio show with lots of talk and great guests.............it's a great shame that the rest of the shows do not match up ( 6am to 10am ) a classic example. I and many others no longer want to listen to Stern wannabees where the actual host sounds like a stroke victim.

Radio in this country needs a major shake up and from what I have heard on the grapevine KROCK in Fort Myers is getting ready to do just that. A new morning show will be a great start and I hope it begins in Febuary.

Cheers

Hi Everyone,
I hope you are all getting into the Christmas spirit (my preference is rum and diet coke) and that all your shopping is done. Those of you that know me already know that I am property hunting in Tennessee. I am looking for a large log home with about 100 acres so that my dogs and I can let loose !!
Fort Myers beach has lost a lot of its charm and its not a fun place anymore so I have made the decision to really start searching hard and hopefully get moved by Febuary.

Musically things are coming along ...........more songs getting finished up and I am so looking forward to touring again next year. I am still waiting for more of you to suggest different songs that youd like to hear next year so please get busy with that. I want you all to be happy with every song that is played next year.
Thats it for now,
                          See you in a few,

Hi Everyone,
Finally some good news. I have been offered a replacement concert for New Years Eve. As I have mentioned before I WILL NOT be appearing at the Sockemdog South Carolina show due to non payment and lack of communication.

I will however now be appearing at the 7 Flags Event Center Clive, Iowa with good friends of mine "Firehouse" and the L.A. Guns and I look forward to seeing as many of you as can get there. It will undoubtably be a cold night but it is going to be a "Hot" show and I can promise you that all three bands will rock you into the new year.

So, come on down and bring in the new year with us...........

See you there,

Hi everyone
What a sad day today for any Soccer fan. The one and only George Best has just died in hospital at the Cromwell hospital in London. Anyone who ever saw him play will tell you the same thing...he was the best.........the very best........
I had the pleasure of meeting him a couple of times, the last time during a charity soccer match near Hastings. I found him to be a really kind ,nice guy.......officially he had stopped drinking and I think had had pellets inserted in his stomach which would have made him very sick if he had an alcholic drink. It wasnt long after that that he was back to drinking again. It was a really big problem for George and he was never to beat the demon alchohol.
Even after a liver transplant he couldn't stop the habit. My never ending memories of him will always be with a ball at his feet leaving defenders for dead with such style, he would even go back and do it again just to irritate them.
I dont believe in the hereafter but if there was one, I wish George "Geordie" Best has a ball up there with him now !!!!!

Hi All
Well here I am back home after the MLS cup final. I am sorry to say that the Rev's lost the game but all in all I had a fantasic time there apart from that. I also got to enjoy the company of former Manchester Utd star Gordon Hill and got a good look at his "famous" left foot that had destroyed so many teams. I didnt think the odor was that bad but Paul Mariner passed out unconcious after a few minutes though that could have been due to the heroic amounts of beer consumed after the game. The Rev's head coach is former Liverpool star Stevie Nicol so there I am in the middle of all my football heroes.......what a great time and what nice people !!!

This week I plough back into work on the new record........I have been slacking in that department but now I start working hard again.

I will let you know how things are going................

All the best,

                    Brian xx

I am having a great time here at the Marriot in Plano.......very cool hotel apart from the fact that cell phones dont seem to work within the building.

Anyway.......all the players and coaches are ready for tomorrows big game and its cool to see them all in preperation.

On another note, many people have asked me to do certain songs during a show and so this coming year I am opening it up to you.......all you have to do is write and request he song/s that you would like me to perform in concert next year.........I will do the rest !!!

That should cure all the problems but please remember that I cannot sing all night so I will have to choose the most requested songs.

Get those requests in and cheer the Revolution to a win tomorrow...................

Cheers,

Hi All
Had a great show in Cocoa beach on Sat night. Dean Aicher was back on guitar and I have to say it was good to have "Mr Steady" up there. It was just about the last show of the year so afterwards we had a good time at a little club not far from the venue.

My old pal Paul Mariner ( ex soccer star for England,Arsenal,Pompey and anyone else who would have him) is now assistant coach at the New England revolution and they have reached the Final of the Cup.  Pretty much like the English F.A. final. The game will be in Dallas on Sunday but I am meeting Paul and the boys on Thursday in Dallas and we will hang out for a few days. I am hoping the boys will lift the cup on Sunday and if they do I am sure that the party will go on to wee hours.

I will keep you informed and dont forget to tune into the final on ESPN.

Catch you later,

Hi there,
Well........that was a crazy night.........I and all the animals made it through the storm but I have to say that it got a little wild. The house was shaking and moving in the wind......I lost several trees...........a few roof tiles but thats about it from what I can see right now. The wind is still blowing but the worst is over and I have to say that I enjoyed the experience !!!

I will write more later,

Well, here I am all boarded in and waiting for Wilma to visit in the early hours. I have beer, vodka, and a fine old whisky so I guess I am all set.  The local media is scaring everyone to death with predictions but I am still here looking after my dogs........it may already be too late to leave even if I wanted to. They are predicting a huge storm surge of about 13ft..........that would certainly be a problem and would certainly put the lower half of my house under water.

Still.........I can't leave the pets here to fend for themselves so I will tough it out with them.
I wil try to let you know more tomorrow........................till then,

Hi everyone,
Things are not looking good here regarding the weather. Hurricane Wilma looks like it is heading straight for me here on the beach and I am having to prepare the house for a real battering. I have way too many animals and I am not leaving without them and I am sure there are many people who feel the same way. I am amazed that shelters do not seem to cater for animals. I have never been here for a strong hurricane so it will be real interesting to see if the house will stand up to it..........it stood up to Charley (cat 4) so I am hoping that Wilma is not any stronger.

Better news is that on New Years eve I am returning to Sockemdog in South Carolina for a show...............That will be a very intimate show and last time we had a great time so I am looking forward to it.
Well off I go to get food supplies and fuel for the generator .........catch you all later !!!

Hello everyone,
Well it has been torture here for the last 10 days or so becauseof the thing called "red tide". In the last week there have been thousands of dead fish washed up on the beaches and the stench is horrendous. It is affecting everyone here and I have had a bad throat and chest for the last few days and feeling miserable. Hopefully the council here will get the beaches up together before the thousands  of tourists arrive for the season.

Anyway,
               Catch you all later,

Hello everyone
What a crazy week........Thursday I appeared at Delmarva Bike week,Berlin Maryland. I apologize to the crowd for the poor sound at the event butI was using a local sound company and the sound guy just didnt seem to know what he was doing. After the show I went to the fairgrounds to see the wall of death show....THRILL ARENA !!!  WOW........If ever you get the chance to see this show go do it...........it was truly amazing and I cannot wait to see it all again. Friday we went to Bainbridge GA for the bike fest there.........that bike show is growing so fast every year and is so well run............Tommy was there to ensure the sound was up to quality and we had a great time before, during and after the show !! Enough said !!!!

Sat saw us in the Sockemdog saloon in South Carolina which is a vast complex in the middle of the woods and we had a great time there too. I really enjoy my job but when you meet people of the standard of everyone at Sockemdog it makes life so much easier.......thanks everyone and we hope to see you all soon.

Well Hello,
I have just arrived back from London and had a great time. I stayed with my good friends Jane and Jeremey at their mansion in Bishops Waltham. Had a really great time and ate and drank way too much.........I am jet lagged to death and have to be up early to fly to North Carolina in the morning. Looking forward to it though and then on Sat I am at the hayloft in Mount Clemons Michigan.........

I will write more when these shows are over.........but before I go......I understand that a fan is very dissapointed in me for not returning an e mail to them. For that I am sorry but he should try to understand that I have been out of the country last week and my e mail was not working due to an overload on my AOL account..........that said I dont appreciate his last comment on my guest page and I am glad that I was unable to respond to him. He could have however have bought a ticket for the show in Galt airport and contacted me through security there....and I would have been glad to have met with him even though we left to drive to Chicago right after the show.

See you this weekend !!!

Cheers,
            Brian

Hi everyone,
What a week last week...........I went off to Compass Point studios in the Bahamas to mix a couple of new songs but had to leave early due to what has now become the Hurricane "Katrina". Then myself and the band had trouble getting out of Florida for the same reason.........
Anyway, we got out allright and had a great sold out show in Prestonsburg Kentucky ........all this despite myself and Ricky on drums were suffering from horrendous flu !!!!
Next night we went on to Galt airport IL to open up the show for Foreigner. It was great to see Mick Jones and Jason Bohnam again...........it has been years since we last saw each other and we had a great time just shooting the breeze. The crowd was amazing and we got through it even though by then most of the band was very sick........we now have about 10 days to recouperate and I am heading for London to see family and friends and also speak to a label or two about my up coming record.
I will report again when I return to the states..........until then be as bad as you wanna be,

All the best

Hi there,
I did a show in Omaha a couple of weeks ago with Z-92 FM.......It was at the Anchor Inn right there on the river. It was without doubt one of the most memorable shows of my career. I never dreamt that so many people would turn out for the show but in the end we had 10,000 screaming fans there and we had a wonderful night !!!!

I am sorry to have not mentioned it before but I have been so busy touring and recording that I simply forgot to mention it before.............Let me say..........The Anchor Inn is a place that I want to return to..........and thanks to everyone involved with Z-92FM for making it such a great night..............I hope to see you all soon !!!!!

Hi everyone,
What a great weekend. I arrived in Little rock Arkansas on Thursday night and was met by Brian Bailey and the crew from KWLT-FM 102.7. We proceeded (against my will) to ingest copious amounts of alcohol in various Little Rock bars way into the wee hours. The rest of the band arrived the next morning and we went on to the wonderful little town of Crossett. Everybody there treated us so well and we had a great show............there had never been a band there before and although the turnout wasn't as good as it could have been I think next time it will be a sell out. After the show I went to see the infamous " CROSSETT LIGHTS" .click on the link !!
A Single Southern Guy in America

I DO NOT believe in ghosts or anything like that but I have to tell you........I SAW SOMETHING !!!  We sat in the car in  little country lane and flashed the lights three times......a little time later it appeared from the woods on the left about 100 yards in front of us and moved into the center of the lane. It was like a slightly lit misty object. It stayed in front of the car for about a minute and then went back from where it had come...FREAKY !!!!!

Next night we were in Lacrosse Wisconsin and we had a good time there too even though we had to drive from Minneapolis and back. We couldn't stay there too long after the show due to the drive back but we did meet a couple of sober people. Thanks to everyone there who helped to get the show on.............we will see you all again soon.
All the best,
                     Brian

Wow..........what a week that was...........4 shows in a row and we made a lot of friends up there in Canada. I would like to thank everyone who made the shows happen and to the thousands that came. Special thanks has to go to Stewart (our driver) who not only drove us all hours of the day and night but  also provided us with probably the best stories ever told.
It was an exhausting week but myself and the band had a great time. What a difference to my time in Bad Company.........these guys really are fun to hang with and are nice people.
Practical jokes 24/7 and great musicians.
Looking forward to getting back to the Toronto area again this coming Saturday.
Till then

Hello everyone
What a great weekend .....I played at Comstock Nebraska who supplied the most wonderful crew and equipment.then on Friday we went to Bismark ND and had a blast there. Saturday I was at the fairgrounds in Bloomfield Iowa and every one treated us sowell and made life very easy which was great because we were so tired.

This coming week I get up to see all my Canadian friends and I cannot wait for that. The 22nd of July is my birthday so I am sure that gig will be a real blast.

I would love to thank the person who stole my stage shirt in Bloomfield........such a nice person. If you see a "LUCKY 13" shirt being worn around there it is stolen property.

Anyway............I am looking forward to getting to Canada...........I got my GREEN CARD this week and will find it much easier to come and go into the U.S
Thats it for now.........see you up there

Hello everyone,
Hope you are all having a wonderful holiday weekend........tomorrow (4th July) I will be entering the studio for a week of recording and hopefully will come out with all the vocals done. The record is being prepared for a mid august finish so it should be available sometime in Sept/Oct.

By the way..........I finally got my refund from ROOMS TO GO but I urge all of you thinking of buying furniture there that you ask about their refund policy before you do so !!!

Had a great time this weekend (Friday night ) in Arlington Heights IL..........thanks to everyone who attended ........we had a great time and it was good to see you all.

Once again..........HAVE A GREAT HOLIDAY WEEKEND..........Catch you soon<

Hello everyone
Just as an up date........Rooms to go did come last Tues (21st) to pick up the faulty furniture but thus far (26th) no word on the refund !!!!
I would urge anyone who is even thinking  about buying furniture from ROOMS TO GO to enquire exactly what their refund policy is !!!!

Two great shows last week........Stamford Connetticut on Thursday........we had a great time there and were well looked after..........we had to get to bed real early after that show as we had a 6.30am flight to Biloxi the next day and another show. Had great fun there also.
As for the new record..........slow slow slow.............I and the band have been very sick the last three weeks with throat and chest infections that just wont quit though I think we are all just about in the clear now. Just about all the actual tracks have been recorded and next week we begin recording the vocals but I will tell you this...........get ready..........this is one hell of a record...........potentially the best of my career and I cannot wait for you to hear it.

Will write again soon
                                         Brian

Well,
It seems that after visiting the web page and learning that legal action was about to be taken "Rooms to go" softened thier approach to dealing with this problem.............My guard dog attorney Michael F Hornung was ready willing and more than able to deal with this problem so thankyou "Rooms to go" for the change in attitude. Might I suggest though that in future you give refunds willingly to customers who have bought substandard furniture.

Dear Brian Howe,
Thank you for contacting Rooms To Go. You are a valued customer and your satisfaction is very important to us. Please be advised that we will continue to follow the terms and conditions of the sale in which you have signed and agreed to. With this said we will allow you to reselect to a new item. We would ask that you complete this process within 30 days. Be assured that we do not offer a return/refund policy. We have many items for you to browse and choose from and request that you please take advantage of this offer. Might I suggest you now go to   www.brianhowe.com and read the diary page !!!!!!

Mr.. Howe,

At the time our service technician visited your home, we were informed by a female at the residence that a replacement of the same product would not be acceptable and that she was requesting to reselect.  We approved your account for a reselect based on that as well as the damage to the product.

While it is true that Rooms To Go does not offer returns, we do offer reselects and replacements when damage occurs within the warranty period.  In your case, the damage occurred shortly after delivery.  As the furniture was not in your possession for a lengthy period of time, we will be happy to offer you a return and full refund for the merchandise purchased on sales order 1014788.  It is our goal to keep our customers satisfied, since you were not satisfied with your original choice, we wanted to give you the opportunity to be happy with another of our products.

I will contact the showroom when they open this morning and have a return written for the sofa, loveseat and chair.  Once it is in the system, we will contact you to schedule a pick up date.

Thank you for shopping Rooms To Go and I hope that we can better serve your furniture needs in the future.

Sincerely,
Kerri Otis

Hi everybody,
Just thought I would give anyone who even thinks about shopping at "ROOMS TO GO" what happens if anything you  buy there is found to be faulty or badly made. I bought a great looking leather sofa and love seat and chair but within two weeks a leg had broken and then a few days later another one broke........I have since found out that the company has had a major problem with this particular brand of sofa and yet despite this they are refusing a refund. In fact they refuse a refund in almost all circumstances....They do say I can have an exchange but who wants to deal with a company that treats customers this way.....here is the letter they have just sent me .............proving that even though I bought badly made goods " ROOMS TO GO " do not care !!!

Thank you for contacting Rooms To Go. You are a valued customer and your satisfaction is very important to us. Please be advised that we will continue to follow the terms and conditions of the sale in which you have signed and agreed to. With this said we will allow you to reselect to a new item. Hi everybody,
Well, we had a great trip to Hawaii and played two shows for the fair( special thanks to Donna) and did a little sight seeing around the island. Rick (my drummer) and I rented scooters and had a great time pottering around. We left Hawaii on the 1st June at 10pm and travelled all night and day to San Angelo Texas via  L.A , Denver, Houston, Dallas and we were exhausted when we finally arrived. We also had a near crash with a small plane on final approach into San Angelo but luckily our pilot was alert to the danger and had to do a go round at the very last moment. We got into the hotel and ate and that was it..........we slept !!!

So,here we are in San Angelo and the people here are great and have really made us feel at home. The show is tonight and tomorrow we are in Houston and then Home..............it will be good to be back on the beach and relaxing for a few days before we set off to Ohio.

After the ohio show I will really get into recording mode and I will be spending most of my time in the studio with Miguel ...............I will keep you all updated on how it's going,
Catch you later,
                         Brian

Hi there
i have just got home from a wonderful weekend........two packed shows and I had a great time. Saturdays show at the Belly Up tavern was a corker.........Probably the loudest audience so far this year as they sang along with every single song !!!
I want to get back to this weekends venues as soon as possible because both are extremely well run and have great set ups.
Thanks to everyone who came and made the shows the success they were,

Hopefully see you all again soon

Hello all,
Well..........what a surprise  it was last night when I walked out onstage  to see such a packed house. Los Angles is a city that has seen it all and to leave the stage with a standing ovation was a terrific feeling. The  Canyon  theater is a fantastic venue and I would like to thank Lance and his crew for such a great time........Herman on sound also did a wonderful job...........Thankyou !!!!!
Today we move along to a show near San Diego and I havent been there for years so that will be great fun............I will write more after the show tonite............see you there,

All the best,
                       Brian

Hi everyone,
Well, here I am in L.A and waiting for the rest of the band to arrive. The weather isnt great but at least there are shops close to the hotel  so I am a happy camper.

It seems that Simon Kirke still has an attorney who writes to every show I have booked with a pretty threatening  letter informing the venue of how my show has to be advertized.

It seems that Simon loves to waste money on lawyers because if he really did his homework he would see that my contracts are issued in the correct manner. I do not bill my shows as Bad Company but do it under my legal right "Bad Co former singer Brian Howe".In case you cant remember Simon ....I was the singer for the band for 10 long years and wrote all of the hits during that time.
I wish Simon would just save his legal fees and concentrate on his solo career because he is a talented person . I also think it is disrespectful to all Bad Co fans to try to pretend that I was never in the band and Simon should be proud of the entire history of the band. Obviously the band Bad Company no longer exists as a going concern as Paul Rodgers is now concentrating on the greener pastures of Queen and I wish him well too.
I will let you all know how the weekend shows turn out,
Cheers all,

                    Brian

Hi there,
Well here we are just before touring season and I am so looking forward to getting to California to kick off the real start of shows. I also welcome aboard a new guitar player who has really impressed me in the last week or two.......Please welcome Bryan Lemar.
Bryan brings a new level to the band and has a great sound and has worked very hard to make the gig his own. The rest of the band remains the same with Miguel Gonzalez on Bass and Ricky sanders on drums.
As you know I am also about to start recording a new record which is very exciting ...........so it's going to be a very busy year.
I will let you all know more details later on but until then,

All the best,
                    Brian

Hello everyone,
Well, what a great turn out for the Naples show at the Ridgeport Pub.....sold out for a week before the show. Dean Aicher was unavailable on guitar so Bryan Le-mar stepped in at the last minute and with only a soundcheck rehearsal we bashed on with the show.
And what a great show it was ..........the crowd sang their hearts out and we ended up playing for almost 2 hours...........dont ask me how !!!

The Ridgeport is a great place to play and Bob (the manager) was over and beyond helpful and made everything run smoothly.........Thanks again Bob !!
The Arrow (94.5 FM) were sponsors of the show and we had a good time and met with a few of their listeners which was great.

K-Rock (96.1 FM )was also represented by my new friends Liz Wylde and Mickey who's show I listen to every night when I am home and when they get a reliable car they have promised to attend other shows. They currently own a 1972 Ford Fiasco and are proud of the fact that it has only needed one oil change since new.

Any way, thats about it for now. Thanks for making the show a HUGE success and I look forward to seeing you again,
Cheers,
             Brian

Hi All,

I got this e-mail today..................Brian, On your concert page it shows yuo being at Hard Rock Live Orlando on March 30. But on their web-site there is nothing listed for that date. What's up with them ? We want to see you rock the place !!! Big Fan Mark

Well .............the show at the Hard rock is a corperate show and as far as I know is not open to the public......I hope that clears that up !!!!!

This Sat night 19th I am playing another local show at the Ridgeport Pub in Naples.........from what I hear it will be a packed house . Liz Wilde and Mickey from K-Rock will be there and it will be a night to remember.........The Arrow radio station is promoting the show and it will be nice to see them all too.

I will write a show report when I can........all the best,  Brian

Hello everyone,
Well the touring season is almost upon us and this year is going to be the very best yet.The concert page is being re designed to make it easier to read and I know that will please a lot of people.
My new C.D. is slowly taking shape and I already have one offer and am waiting for another labels proposal. This record is really gonna rock !!!!!

This weekend I am playing another show here in Fort Myers for the Edison Festival of light and it will be one huge block party so be there if you can.
I will write more after this weekend but right now I am in songwriting mode and Miguel (my bass player) and I have written some great stuff so far.

It's fun to be rocking again and I can promise you that this year my band is going to be a ROCK BAND again...................so get ready !!!!!!!!!!!

Hello everyone,
I got an e mail last night........

Date: 1/11/2005 6:16:33 PM
Dear Brian, I would like to ask you how your new Cd is coming along and when your new tour dates will be posted? Looking forward to it! Also, what are your thoughts on the Motley Crue Reunion? Even though you and your band have a great thing going, would it be possible for You, Ralphs, Kirke and Burrell to put your differences aside- Even if only for One last Ride, for yourselves and for the fans?

Vicki

Let me say first of all that I am all for getting together with Simon Kirke and co for a tour.........I think it would be great to do that and show that my version of the band was indeed as good as anything the former version had done. Maybe you should all write to Simons website and put it to him !!

As for Motley Crue........Love that band.......Vince Neil is a friend of mine and I have always enjoyed the music.........life is too short to hold grudges and they are being sensible enough to realise this and go out and rock together.good luck to them.

I am still working on a new cd and the songs are heavier than anything I have ever done..........catchier as hell but quite simply nasty hard biting rock.People are going to be very surprised that the old dog can rock like this.........
The show at the Woodshed in West Columbia S.C was another huge (sold out )success and trust when I say that they know how to rock there............thanks to B.J. for helping to make the show the huge success that it was.

On another note.......I was watching comedy central a week or so ago and came across an amazing comedian called Demetri Martin.......He is ne to watch for the future and I promise you that he will be a household name within the year.a real genius........catch him at www.demetrimartin.com  and enjoy !!!!

Catch you all later,
                               Brian

Thank you for all of your wonderful support this year............lets do it all again next year.......

          Love you all,
                                  Brian

Hello everyone,
The touring year is going to start earlier than last year and is already looking to be my busiest year ever. The year starts at the "WOODSHED" in West Columbia S.C. on Jan 8th and I will let you know of the other dates as they are confirmed.

I last played the woodshed on March 13th of last year and the place was incredible.....packed to the rafters with a real rock n roll crowd. I promise you an even better show this year.
I have my best friends "The Whaleys" coming for Xmas........there will be eight of them arriving and my house will be full. I am looking forward to it though.

I have been approached by two different labels concerning my next C.D. but I will keep you informed on what is happening.
I also see that my old friend Paul Rodgers has joined Queen ........seems like a strange deal to me but at least I guess he has found his true vocation now.

Date: 11/23/2004 4:06:15 PM

HelloAll,
Well, it's been quite awhile since we last got together. Lots has been going on and I am a very happy camper. Got a couple of killer songs written and I hope to have a new 5 song cd available for sale at shows in the new year.
It appears that I have a reputation for writing ballads but I can assure you that what I have been writing is very hard hitting rock songs. Miguel Gonzalez (my bass player) and I have come up with some things I am very pleased with and I am sure you will be too !!

New years eve should be interesting this year because I am doing a show here in my adopted home town (Fort Myers beach). It will be nice not to have to travel and I will be able to have a huge party at my house which will upset the neighbors........The show will actually be on the beach and a special stage is being built. It's going to be a crazy crazy night..........be there !!!!!!!!!

Next year I will be including a lot more of MY bad Co songs in the show as I have been inundated with requests for songs like .....bad man........stranger stranger......boys cry tough......stranger than fiction.........No Smoke without a fire........

Look forward to seeing you New Years Eve,
                                                                       Brian

Hi again,
Well, the best laid plans of mice and men............The Columbia show on the 11th of December is now cancelled. It seems that there will be a change of ownership of the venue in November so obviously the current owner cannot commit to a December show.

What a drag............but I guess that's the club business !!!

Will write again soon,

                                        Brian

Date: 10/19/2004 12:26:39 PM

Hello everybody,
Well the touring season has pretty much come to an end .......it seems a lifetime ago that I kicked of this years dates with a show at the Woodshed in South Carolina on March 13th. So much has happened since then and I have travelled around the world and also through much of the U.S and Canada. It has really been a fantastic year and we have made so many new friends/fans but I thought it would be a great idea to end this years touring right where it started .........THE WOODSHED IN COLUMBIA, SOUTH
CAROLINA.  The show will take place on December 11th and there is no doubt going to be another packed house for this pre X-mas bash...................

That will conclude the touring for this year and I would like to thank my band and agents for another great year of sterling service.

Next years calender is already filling up and is promising to be my best ever and I am looking forward to it.

Please keep writing to me though..........I do read those notes you post and really want to keep in touch with you all,
                                         Until next time,
                                                                 Brian  xxxx

Hello everyone,
Wow, what a month.........storm after storm and the chance of more to come. I have extensive roof damage and a slow insurance company but hopefully all will be fixed soon. Had a wonderful weekend ..........Friday I was in Lawrenceburg  Indiana and although stage space was very limited (thanks KANSAS) it was a good show. I got to see an old buddy of mine who I havent seen for years........Charlie Hun was the singer for Ted Nugent just before I was and it was great to see him after all this time.........he is a cool guy and can sing a bit too !!

Next night I was in New Iberia Louisiana and what a rocking town that is..........we had a real blast and there were thousands there to see it. After the show we went to Mr Bojangles and jammed with the HITSQUAD.........what a great band they are and we had a fun time doing that.

Thats about it for now so until later,
                                                     all the best,
                                                                       Brian

Hello everyone,
Well the charity event is over and I think everyone had a great time and over $150,000 was raised for the local red cross to aid hurricane relief. It was great to see Lou Gramm, Brian Johnson and Cliff williams doing their thing too...what a blast !!!!
My band really started kicking three songs in and we really had a great time up there.it's nice to be amongst my adopted home town fans. Boy....they were loud !!!

I now have a week or so off and I will be writing some songs with my bass player Miguel and will be working toward a new record...........this one is going to a real ROCK record and will surprise a lot of people with it's power.

Miguel is a very talented man and I am looking forward to getting a lot of work done in his studio.

Thats it for now but I will write soon,

Brian

Hello everyone,

The show is at Germain arena (formally Teco) and if you are local to the Fort Myers area I urge you to come along and have a great time..........every song played by every band was a major hit.......NO fillers..........

So if you can make it to the show

All the best Brian

Hi there,
Just got back from Canada and I have to say a huge thankyou to everyone who made the show possible. The local crew were amazing ..........simply the best !!!  Thanks again.
I also got to see my old buddy Gregg Dechert who used to play with me in Bad Co..........he got up and jammed with us for almost the whole set and we had a great time.
The show was The great lakes jam and an open air festival in Owen sound and the weather had turned awful. The main stage was pretty much flooded so we played our show in a smaller tent because I didnt  want to just go home after traveling all that way. Let me tell you something.............the crowd piled in and we had a fantastic time and they sang their hearts out all the way............what a great afternoon..............Thanks again to everyone for what will become great memories,

Cheers   Brian

Hi everyone,
Today I was finally allowed back on the island here after the hurricane......all is well !!  Everyone is safe along with all the animals and I have some roof damage but all in all we came through pretty well.
I have recieved an avalanche of e-mails from concerned people and I thank you all for your thoughts.

All in all I had a great weekend though in Sturgis and Billings and hopefully made a lot more friends and hopefully we will all see each other again soon.I will write again soon but I have a roof leak to contend with and the summer rains are not helping matters.

So,until then all the very best,
                                               Brian

Hi Everybody,
Things are looking bad right here on the beach at Fort Myers Florida where Hurricane Charley is due to hit tomorrow. We are being "mandatory" ordered to leave the island today and my other house in Ohio is just too far away.
I have 14 parrots to get to safety and three dogs and three cats so today should be interesting..........so far our Vet's office and many other animal establishments have no acommodations so I have a busy day ahead of me so I will check out and let you all know how things turn out tomorrow...............Till then,

BRIAN

Hi Everyone,
Had a great weekend with both shows being great fun. Saturdays show was with B.T.O. and it was great to see Fred Turner again.Sunday night we went up to upstate N.Y. and did a show in Monticello (special thanks to Craig ).

Flying home tonight was interesting..........Airport security is a complete joke when they X-ray your bags to make sure you are not carrying anything "dangerous" like a knife !!!!
In Philadelphia tonight after going through "Security" I had an hour or so to spare so I went to a little wine bar /restaurant in the airport. I ordered a glass of wine and a steak........then they supplied my table with a complete set of stainless steel cutlery which of course contained a very sharp serated edged KNIFE..........I couldnt believe it  !!!
I repeat........AIRPORT SECURITY IS A JOKE and just as badly run as it has always been. Well done Mr Bush you are keeping the country secure ...........NOT !!!!!

Rant over,
                  Brian

Hello again
Had a great weekend and had a wonderful crowd in London Ontario.....for the London Balloon Festival. A band called "Thundermug" opened up for us and I really enjoyed their show very much.........what a cool band !!!
We stayed at the Delta Armourie Hotel which was a very nice hotel and we had good time there.Thats about it until next weekend when I visit N.Lawrence Ohio on the saturday and then on to Monticello N.Y.for a Sunday show.I cannot believe how many shows are coming in for me every day now and next years calender will be my biggest ever.I am still househunting everywhere I go but have yet to find my dream house.........I am going to need a lot of land to keep my dogs happy but like I say,the search continues !!

See you all soon,
                            Brian

Hello everyone,
Wow, what a weekend..........had a great time in Portland on Friday and then travelled all day to Rolla Mo...........Thats when the rain and the wind started and forced the special olympics organisers to cancell the event........it was heartbreaking but the wind had driven the rain onto the stage (outdoor show) and the area where the audience was to be was totally flooded so we all decided to call it a day and get an early night.

Next stop was Cheyenne WY...........had a great time there and the crowd and I had a laugh or two during the show.
Next up I would like to thank Simon Kirke for removing the statement that upset me from his website..........I would also like to re-state for everyones benefit that I have never EVER set out to perform as Bad Company. I do however have the right to perform as "Bad Company former singer...Brian Howe" and that is what I do.
My contracts are very strongly worded to that effect and I think that Simon now understands that..........Like I said I wish Simon all the very best in his ventures and wish that we could even maybe play a show or two together.........my door is open.
This coming weekend I am performing at a festival in London Ontario which should be great fun............Hopefully I will see some of you there,
All the best
                 Brian

Hello everyone,
It has been brought to my attention that my Ex - Drummer has been making ridiculous claims on his website............such as..........................

"One last thing: I still hear Brian Howe sneaking in the odd Bad Company gig. He is NOT allowed (by law) to do this! He can advertise himself as 'former lead singer of...' but not otherwise. If anyone out there hear's of any infraction like this you must tell us at the website and send a pic of any poster that shows the gig. Believe me he must be stopped." Will write again soon
Peace and love to everyone
Simon

An open letter to Simon Kirke...........

Dear Simon,
Please let me know where you heard this from as I will take legal action against anyone who says that I am pretending to be "Bad Co" including yourself. Please just get on with your few gigs and stop being bitter. If you really feel that I am breaking the law then please just say so on your website and I will take it from there,
All the very best with your shows,
                                                      Brian.

Hi everyone,
Just in case you are interested..I will be making a small appearence on Discovery channels "American Casino" on July 30th    Episode 9 I think. I was performing in Vegas at a private show when the cameras were rolling..........Hope it turns out alright !!!!

This weekend will be a real gruelling three days of shows.......On Friday I am appearing in Portland OR.....Next day I am in Rolla MO .......and then on Sunday I am in Cheyenne WY.
I guess I shouldnt complain as the work is now flowing in and already next year is looking even better.....it has taken 5 long years to get to this stage and I would like to thank everyone in my band and all at AIM International (my agents) for helping to make this possible.

See you all this weekend
                                         Brian

Hi Everyone,
Another busy weekend coming up with the following shows.........on Sat 17th I am appearing at the KCIR Racetrack in Independence Mo and then on Sunday 18th I will be at Tequilas in Salina Kansas.

I am so looking forward to these shows............the band is gathering momentum and the crowds are getting bigger and bigger and dare I say crazier !!!!!!!
Other news is that Terry THOMAS (Bad Co producer) and I are hoping to get together again real soon to write some songs and hopefully put a new record together.Several labels have already expressed an interest and it will be nice to work with Terry again.

See you all this weekend,
                                        Brian

Hello everybody,
I am so looking forward to getting to Post Falls Idaho this weekend. Now that the "Foreigner" thing is behind me (and it has been going on since January) I can now get down and concentrate on what I do best.
Just an update for all "Foreigner " fans..........I love Foreigner with Lou Gramm.........To me it's like coffee and cream.....Bread and butter....I see no point in trying to emulate what Lou did in that band.

It was bad enough replacing Paul Rodgers and I think Lou is his prime was a much better singer than Paul. Anyway, that's the end of the matter for me but I do wish Mick Jones all the best in his next venture.
I would love to write some songs with Mick at sometime.........we shall wait and see !!!!

See you this weekend<

                                   Brian

Date: 7/6/2004 11:23:34 PM

Dear All,
I found this (below) on the Foreigner official site.........

("We don't know why Brian Howe would make such statements or what his agenda is... all we know as of now is what Mick Jones told us directly a week or so ago: " that he hasn't spoken to, nor had any contact with, Brian Howe for at least two years.")

I have never stated anywhere that Mick Jones has contacted me.........I have only talked to Phil Carson (Foreigner co manager)regarding this matter.
As for what my agenda is.......My agenda is to have a band that is functional and rocking..... My band fits that description as anyone can testify that has been to my shows.I am NOT seeking the position in Foreigner and as I have stated right here I am happy with my band who are real troopers and great fun to be with.
In fact I would love Lou and Mick to sort out the differences and spend a year getting ready for a new launch..........

I asked on my website what people thought about this situation and If they would like/dislike my being with Foreigner...........That decision is now made and I wish Mick Jones all the best in his new venture and hope he has great success.......I will NOT be part of it and I hope this sets things straight.

Date: 7/2/2004 2:39:56 PM

Hi everyone,
I am reading everywhere the rumors that I am going to be the new lead singer with "Foreigner". Let me set the record straight..............I have been in talks with Phil Carson (Foreigner co manager) for some time now. I have always been a huge Foreigner fan and have known Mick Jones since we met way back in 1973 in Portsmouth England. We wrote some songs together way back then and have been in contact pretty much ever since.......He even got me the gig with Bad Co !!!

My dilemma is this, I have worked so long and hard at building a solo career and it is all now beginning to bear fruit..........My crowds are getting bigger and bigger and I really think the world of the guys in my band and we have great fun doing what we do. I must admit though the thought of doing  shows with Bad Co songs and Foreigner songs and Mick Jones playing guitar is also very very tempting.

I guess before I go any further I want to know what you all think of this siituation........should I ......shouldnt I ???

Please let me know your thoughts ...........it will have a great bearing on what I do next !!!

Cheers
            Brian

Hello All,
Well, I have just returned from Antigua..........what a week that was !!!
If any of you ever go to Antigua let me recommend a place NOT to stay at. The ROYAL ANTIGUAN is a hotel in limbo........the staff are trying to cover the limitations of the hotel but all in all it was a very poor weeks vacation.
It all started on arrival.......if you are "all inclusive" you are required to wear a  bright red plastic bracelet that if you lose will have to pay a $100  fine. Even on checkout if you do not have the bracelet you will be fined.   I got to the room to find that the air conditioning was not working..........they argued that it was but needed a few hours to kick in !!!
I left for dinner and returned to find a room approaching the temperature of the sun. Further compaints got me moved to another room that had no hot water. The hot water returned from what I heard on numerous occasions but never whilst I was in the room.
The food all week was pretty average and that is a compliment....the breakfast bacon was like trying to eat "hot shoe leather" and I swear that the egg mix had never been anywhere near a chicken.
The coffee was coffee-ish in color and was certainly mixed with some king of water.........the bread was stale on a good day and green on a bad.
Laying out on the beach was another disaster area........local traders never leave you alone.....I would lay there with headphones blasting and they would still approach and poke my arm until I responded. They were selling anything from hair braids to drugs and were always asking me to get them free drinks from the beach bar...........

The beach bar is another story..........if you are studying the gathering place of the fly population of the West Indies then this is the place to be.A whole metropolis of decease bearing insects surrounding dozens of unsuspecting tourists and their food.............
I will write again after I shake of my stomach bug,

Love ,
             Brian

Hi everybody,
This is going to be a gruelling but fun week. I leave tomorrow for a show at the Robinson Entertainement center in Robinson IL.  On friday I am at the Michigan theatre of Jackson and then on Saturday I am doing a special benefit show for the "Sandy Corley memorial fund " in Grant Michigan. Then I am having a week off and am going to Antigua for a weeks holiday. I havent been there for years but from what I remember it is a wonderful place and I am also going househunting while there so you never know I might become an islander soon.

I will try to write to you from Antigua and try to keep you up to date with whats happening,
Until then,
                 All the best,
                                     Brian

Hello there,
Just got back from a long weekend of travelling.............Jane Mo was an interesting show.We did a long soundcheck and arrived back to find that everything had changed and had to do nearly all the show without the monitors working...........the monitor guy was probably unaware of this as he seemed to be incapable of even basic thoughts and quite honestly shoiuld never be allowed near a mixing desk ever again..........I would like to thank him for all of his help !!!!!

The crowd though was great and we had a good time..........Happy Birthday to Tony too !!!

Cheers ,

Hello everyone,
What a fantastic weekend..............we had many thousands come out to see us play at Bluffs Casino Iowa on Friday night and then we made the long trip down to my "adopted" home town of Fort Myers Beach. It was nice to do a "local" show but of course you get worried about the added pressures of playing to your locals. The weather also threatened the outdoor show but the rain stopped just before I went on stage. It was amazing.........the place went from being empty to packed in a matter of minutes and we had a great show and I hope raised a lot of money for "SWIM FLORIDA". My old pal Joe Scott from WRXK (96 Krock) also came along to lend support and it was of course great to see him..........thanks Joe !!!!!

Greg Cross from swim Florida deserves a special mention because it was he that was the main instigator of the entire event and he pulled it all together despite many problems ......again ,well done Greg !!!!
Brents music supplied the sound and lights and once again proved what a professional organisation they really are.........the stage set up was perfect and we were looked after so well.........thanks to you also.
Most thanks though must go to the fans who just keep on growing in numbers and coming out to the shows.I truly thank you for all your support and I hope to see many more of you very soon.

Love Ya,
                 Brian

It will be an open air affair with several local bands appearing and it will be a nice change to play at home!!!!

Hope to see many of you there,

For contractual reasons the show on Sunday  at Whiskey Joes is cancelled.....I am sorry buy it was beyond my control.....
Have a great weekend and see you all soon.........................Brian

Hello everyone,
Wow,what a great but busy week.............I spent two days in Las Vegas for a private show and then hot footed it over to Tampa for last nights show before a huge crowd at the Forum for the Stanley Cup...........I must be a lucky omen because the Tampa Lightening beat the Flames 4-1 which ties the teams up at 1-1 and the Bolts can go to Calgary knowing that they can bring Stanley back to Florida to get a good tan.

I now have two days off which I shall spend on my beach before setting off back to Tampa on Sunday for a show at Whiskey Joes. That will be a fun show and I have heard that the venue has been extended to facilitate everyone that wants to come.So I will see you there !!!

Have a great Memorial weekend but spare a thought for those in uniform overseas.........

All the best,
                    Brian

Hi everybody,
Well,Pompey got well and truly beaten this weekend by "RELEGATED" Leicester...........poor little "super foxes" are already down !!! I think actually my team POMPEY felt so sorry for them that they gifted them the points as Leicester had won only maybe two games at home all season.

If any of you want to write to me please do so through my personal e-mail address.............

brianhoweband@aol.com

I will do my best to reply. Well, thats it for a few days as I am going to relax on a wonderful beach for a few days.
See you soon,

Hello everyone,
Last night was the best show of the year so far and yet another FULL HOUSE......not bad for a Thursday night !!!!!!!!!!
Monkey Business is a truly great venue and very well run and the crowd was with us all the way and sang along with every song...............Thanks to everyone who helped make the evening a huge success.

Now I have a few days off to get some songwriting done and have a little holiday somewhere exotic.............then it's of to Alabama for the Sylacauga Music festival on the 22nd May.
My football club "Pompey" play at Leicester tomorrow (sat) and we need to win to have a chance of finishing in the league ablove our local rivals " Scummers"..........I will keep you updated !!!!
See you soon,

Hi,
Had a great time last night in Daytona beach @ Cancun Lagoon.........what a great turn out !!! We were treated so well by everybody and it was a cool place to play.........thanks again !

Tonight I am at Monkey Business in Hilton Head and am looking forward to seeing an old friend of mine who used to play for Portsmouth football club and was in fact the first American to ever play in the English league I believe...........John Kerr.  John had a very deceptive speed...........he was a lot slower than he looked. It will be nice to see him again.

See you all tonight,

                                  Brian

Hi everybody,
I have been browsing around the net this afternoon and came across Simon Kirkes (Bad Co drummer) website. Now,I have to say that Simon and I have not seen eye to eye on some occasions but it is good to see him going out there and playing some solo shows.Simon is a very good singer in his own right and can play many instruments. The song I heard on his website is delightful and I sincerely wish him nothing but the very best in the future....good on yer son !!!!

Moving right along I have come across the new C.D. from the very beautiful  Abra Moore called.........everything changed. This girl writes from the heart and soul and her records are magnificent. If you like touching piano songs this is the girl for you..........she is also just about the sexiest woman in the world......check her out.

My team .......Portsmouth today tied a game with ARSENAL the champions of the premiership 1-1.
Terry Thomas (my friend and record producer) is a huge Arsenal fan and must be hating life at the moment because my team are about the only team to not be beaten by Arsenal in the league this season..............Well done again Pompey !!!!!

Will write again soon,
                                     Brian

Hi everybody,
It looks like the Topeka Kansas show will not be happening on May 29th.It seems that the local agent there has kinda dissapeared and another date will be played on that day...........I am so sorry for those of you that were looking forward to coming but I will keep you updated and let you know if things change !!!

All the best,
                      Brian

Hello there,
Well we did it.............we beat LEEDS UTD in Leeds 1-2 and we will almost certainly now be in the premiership again next season.

Well played Pompey !!!!!!!!!!

Brian

Date: 4/24/2004 8:54:36 AM

Hi everybody,
Many of you will know this but I am a Football (soccer) supporter and my hometown team is Portsmouth.I used to fly home sometimes for the weekend just to see them play but recently I have been just so busy and have to tune in to the BBC world service or Paltalk on the computer on a game day and listen to the game live.Tomorrow (SUN) we play an important game against Leeds Utd and if we win we pretty much will survive in our first ever season in the Premiership..............this is our most successful season in my lifetime and whatever happens it has been a great season.......we even beat the Scummers,Liverpool and the great Manchester Utd.So I would like to say a big well done to the management and all the players and wish them even more success in the future.

At this moment it looks like the Mexico show is cancelled so I have an extra day off before the show in Conway AK on the 1st May..............Mickey Thomas and Starship will also be on that show and it will be great to see Mickey again, what a great singer he is and a nice guy too.
So,if your in the area next weekend come to the show and we'll all have a great time,

All the best, Brian

Hi again,
Just got home after the long drive home from Vicksburg !! Thanks to everyone there and it was great to see Clarence Carter play a show. We had some pretty bad sound problems during our show which curtailed it a little but all in all it was a great night. The Ameristar casinoand hotel was a real blast and they looked after us so well.

My daughter Victoria is showing signs of maybe wanting to get into this business as a singer and despite my indifference I might take her into a studio soon to give her a shot at recording and see how she does..........that should be interesting. I will keep you informed.

Thats it for now and I have a few days off to hang on the beach before I head off to mexico.

Catch you later,

                         Brian

Hello everyone,
What an eventful week so far........We played in Columbus Ga at the "Firehouse" on Thursday and rocked the place. It was so cool to see so many people there on a Thursday night and I think everyone went home with ears ringing to Bad Co songs.

Today I am in Vicksburg MS and let me tell you, this is a very cool little town. I love places that have a history and this place has loads...........the very first bottled Coca Cola was produced here and the Coca Cola museum is very cool.
I have walked around town all afternoon and I love it here.......a very cool town !!!

Dont forget,if you attend a show and take some cool pics please let me see them and if they are good I will post them on the website.send them to   brianhoweband@aol.com

I am looking forward to seeing all of you in Mexico soon and then on to Conway AK on May 1st...................See you soon,

Hi there,
Last night I had a great time at the The Stage in Atlanta.......a very cool venue !!!! Jeff Carlisi came out and Jammed with us and we had a great laugh. Kevin Neal made a return on drums and was just like old times. The pollen count is through the roof right now and is making singing a difficult job but we have a day off after tonights show in Columbus Ga so I will get a little time to rest up.I will write and let you know about tonights show tomorrow.......................see you then.

Hi Everyone,
I am so sorry but the Canadian tour has had to be moved to a later date. One promoter cost me the whole tour because he couldnt tell the truth during daylight hours and I believe even lied in his sleep to keep his hand in.

Anyway............enough of that...............I will come to Canada as soon as things can be arranged and I promise to give you a show to remember.

On another note..........it seems that certain people of very limited intelligence have started writing in to my web site with stupid Paul Rodgers comments. Those people are NOT BAD COMPANY fans but are simply Paul Rodgers fans who have an axe to grind . That's fine,Paul did a great job with Bad Co and I like to think that during my ten years I did an equally good job.........certainly Mick Ralphs and Simon Kirke thought so.
So please keep the stupid comments out of this website.........I was the lead singer for BAD COMPANY for TEN long years and was proud to be involved in sold out tours and selling millions of records............real Bad Co fans know this !!!!!!!!
Catch you all later,
                                 Brian

Hi everyone,
Well, another great weekend of shows...................first of all I played at Jupiters Pig Fest on Friday and although the weather wasn't great for the outdoor event it was a good show and it was great to see some old friends like Billy Bones and family and  Wendy Dore................thanks to everyone who came !!!

Saturday night was Cocoa Beach for Beachfest 2004...........had a great time there and despite the showers we made it through ...........the crowd sang their hearts out and we had a fantastic night of Bad Co memories !!!

Tuesday I set off for Canada and a whole series of shows.............How about that !!!!!!
See you all soon,
                          Brian

Date: 3/22/2004 10:46:22 AM

Hi Everybody,
Wow, what a week that was..................first of all I played a private show in Palm springs on Tuesday for AP+M field services. What a great day that was..........special thanks to Bill Carlton for getting that show together.
Flying out the next day my flights got messed up and I had to stay the night in Cincinatti and then made my way to Maine on Thursday for the show in Ellsworth. The show was at "CROSSROADS" and we had a great time with Leo and his staff............it was another SOLD OUT show and the crowd really rocked...........thanks to everyone who came along !!!!
From there we headed to Farmingdale , Long Island N.Y. for another "SOLD OUT" show and on Saturday we really rocked the place.
The "downtown" is a great venue and so well run that shows there are easy and we had a real good time.
I now have about three days off before my shows here in Florida and then next week I start my Canadian tour............Don't forget..........if you take pics during my shows please let me see some at
Brianhoweband@aol.com

See you all soon ,
                                           Brian

Hi All,
Well, we have now completed our first show in West Columbia. It was a sold out show and it was great to see so many people. Everyone had a great time and I hope to get back there before the end of the year.
Allergy season is upon us here in Florida and I am sure it will soon be all over the country. That makes life very difficult for most singers and this year its affecting me more than ever before.............as I get older it is getting worse every year but right now it is really bad but hopefully the shows will not be affected.
I am thinking of leaving Florida sometime soon and moving somewhere in the country with lots of land. I am not sure where yet but maybe somewhere where there are more seasons.Florida is great but eternal summer is getting real boring and it will be good for my dogs to have some land to run on.
On Thursday 18th I am appearing in Ellsworth Maine and then on Sat 20th I will be in Farmingdale Long Island.

Looking forward to seeing you all this weekend,
                                                                          Brian

Well Hello everybody,

The web page is back and now being run by someone who knows what they are doing. I am very sorry about the delay in getting this site up and running. There is so much to tell you all about whats happening and I will start with the fact that I prety much have a new band for this years tour.
The band will be..........Eddie Zyne on Drums..........Miguel Gonzalez on Bass..........Tom Hall on keyboards/guitar..........Billy Livesay on guitar.........A certain Steve Gordon (guitar)will also be appearing on certain dates if his new russian girlfriend allows it !!!!

The whole site is getting ready for launch and I am eagerly awaiting the guestbook page where you guys can write to me and as you know I do actually read it and it keeps me up to date with how you guys feel about the records and shows that you attend.
Thanks to all you guys for hanging in there..........the site is back better than ever and I am looking forward to hearing from you all,

Be good,see you soon,
